About the Department
We have multiple Ice Skate Attendant positions available! Applications received by Friday, October 10th may be scheduled for an interview on Tuesday, October 14th.
- These positions will work from the end of November through the first week of January
- Positions will work between 20-25 hours per week, and shifts are varied
- These seasonal positions are not eligible for County benefits

This is a great customer service opportunity where you will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and family-friendly environment for the public. You will be the point of contact for all patrons in need of assistance, as well as hand out rental skates and ensure their return.

We provide recreation programs and infrastructure in active and passive parks and trails. The department consists of three divisions: Parks and Recreation, Administration, and Resource Stewardship. Core Daily Responsibilities:
- Monitor and ensure proper use of the ice rink and lobby by the public.
- Use strong customer service skills to educate patrons about facility rules and policies.
- Assist customers in the event of an injury.
- Fill out required reports.
- Ice skate and wear skates for long periods of time and work in cool temperatures.
- Move heavy objects such as hockey goals or ice bumper cars.
Minimum Qualifications
- This position requires intermediate ice-skating skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
