LOCATION: Augusta, GA

SUMMARY

We are actively looking for a GENERAL MANAGER with 3-10 years of proven success leading a Commercial HVAC location and living out the Core Values of Total Comfort Solutions (Treat People Well, Do the Right Thing and Run a Great business). The GM role includes selling while meeting planned growth, profit, maintenance base and customer retention goals through leadership and management of staff. Strict adherence to our Linc System is a must while redeeming customer obligations in a timely, cost effective, high-quality manner.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build and maintain a competent, solutions-minded staff focused on exceeding client needs and expectations.
  • Train, direct and evaluate staff in the effective application of company policies and programs.
  • Direct, motivate, and develop staff in order to ensure their success within the organization.
  • Manage sales and operations staff to deliver financial goals for the following: Revenue, Gross Profit, Net Operating Income, Maintenance Base, Revenue/Technician, Collections, Sales Costs, G&A Costs, and Customer Retention.
  • Manage sales staff to consistently deliver required levels for the following: Activity, Bookings, and Maintenance Base Growth.
  • Develop and execute a plan for market penetration that assures attainment of profit goals.
  • Develop annual plan according to established procedures.
  • Develop and ensure compliance with approved budgets.
  • Utilize the Linc System, training, and counsel to maximize business performance.
  • Engage and support our 2030 Vision.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors Degree preferred; or equivalent work experience
  • 3-10 years leading a HVAC branch or equivalent experience
  • 3 years leading a successful Sales Team
  • Success selling to Business/Building owners
  • Hungry, Humble and Smart
  • Demonstrated achievement and success in growing and retaining a profitable business. Has organized and implemented structure within a business environment.
  • Direct involvement in budget preparation, yearly forecasting, developing a business plan, profit and loss responsibility and report generation and analysis.
  • Demonstrated the ability to collaborate with others inside the location and across locations.
  • Has had direct involvement in service or customer sales.
  • Knowledge of or aptitude to comprehend the basics of mechanical systems; i.e., identification and functions.
  • Demonstrated ability in successfully managing, training, and directing others.
  • Demonstrated experience in hiring and terminating employees or making recommendations to hire/fire.

We have a really good work life balance! You will travel locally along with limited out of town travel for sales meetings, training opportunities and conferences.


ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS  

You will work safely when outside of the normal office setting, and adheres to the safety measures of client sites, including using personal protective equipment, if required.
