Nurse Apprentice - PRN presso Adams Memorial Hospital

The Student Nurse Apprentice may assist professional nursing staff with activities of daily living and vital signs in caring for patients. The Student Nurse Apprentice is responsible for assisting and serving patients in a manner conducive to their safety and comfort. Adhering to instructions issued by the nurse and according to established routines.  Performing duties in accordance with established methods and techniques and in conformance with recognized standards.  Providing maximum patient care services within limits defined by the student nurse apprentice job description.  Student nurse apprentices may also, when time allows, perform procedures while on duty at AMH under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse that they have been taught and practiced clinically at their School of Nursing with the exception of passing medications. The Student Nurse Apprentice is responsible for providing written documentation from their clinical instructor of such procedures.

Requirements:

PRN

Enrolled in a School of Nursing and in good standing.

In last year of an accredited BSN program or the last semester of an accredited ASN program.

Provide documentation from their School of Nursing that verifies level of clinical skills completed prior to performing any duties beyond a CNA.

BLS/CPR Certification
