The Seasonal Production Lead oversees the daily beverage operations team including overall quality, safety and employee performance of their assigned area. The Beverage Lead will work daily with the staff to ensure efficient work performance by training, coaching, developing and correcting behavior of the employees. This is a leadership position that directs the work of all hourly staff and is responsible for the overall performance of the department.

What our Seasonal Beverage Lead will do:

Requirements:

  1. Implement GMP & Safety.
  2. Maintain a safe environment and support a safety culture
  3. Ensure proper PPE is worn and others are adhering to guidelines
  4. Maintain a Food Safety environment and support a quality culture.
  5. Create and maintain a professional working environment.
  6. Maintain materials and product produced within product specifications.
  7. Meet expected operational goals and numbers.
  8. Participate in leadership training programs.
  9. Participate in initiatives such as GROW and WOW
  10. Ability to learn and operate machine centers within the facility.
  11. When the shift may be understaffed, having the ability to provide coverage when needed.
  12. Support maintenance and maintain operation and cleanliness of all machines.
  13. Maintain area in a clean & organized manner.
  14. Be open and actionable to any other items that may be assigned to you.

 Responsibilities:

  1. Engagement with employees and cross functionable team members.
  2. Ensure that there is fair and consistent accountability across all shifts.
  3. Partner with prior shift supervisor / lead to gain understanding on how the beverage line performed.
  4. Communicate production schedule and assign employees to their equipment center.
  5. Provide frequent updates on production adherence and KPI’s, either by email or text.
  6. Ensure that all associates take both their mandated breaks and respective meal periods.
  7. End of Shift: Provide a pass down summary to oncoming shift. Update FDMS board with any outstanding actionable items or safety concerns.
  8. Complete end of shift summary email.
  9.  Reconcile and properly complete all paperwork associated with the shift
  10. Own and participate in their own development.
  11. Perform any work as assigned.
Qualifications:

Skills & experience that are necessary as our Seasonal Beverage Lead will include, but not limited to:

  • Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee may encounter contrasting weather conditions or changes in temperature.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Provide presentations and lead meetings as required.
  • Ability to work within a team environment and with external partners.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to achieve high impact in an unstructured environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Have the aptitude to learn internal HMI’s, web portals, and other web- based reporting tools.

Education & Experience:

GED or high school diploma, one to two years related experience in operating production machines.

Compensation Range: $21.00 to $25.00 an hour
