Department:  Student Billing, Business and Finance

TITLE:  Billing Customer Service Specialist

SUPERVISOR:  Billing Director

STATUS:  Full-time

CLASSIFICATION:  Hourly

JOB SUMMARY:  Greet visitors, answer and manage incoming Billing calls, and assist students, parents, and visitors to Student Accounts.  Provide students with general account information.  Scanning and Logging of all Campus monies.  Scanning of all historical student accounts.  Assist with financial registrations, monthly statements, department mailings, data entry, and general projects as assigned.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:   

• Answer telephone and assist walk-in guests
• Provide general account information to students and parents
• Provide general 1098T information and assist Billing Director in preparation of data
• Assist in all aspects of financial registration as needed
• Process returned mail and address updates
• Assist with monthly statements, department mailings, and batch data entry 
• Assist with general support work and projects as assigned
• Responsible for check/mail processing for campus
• Manage AGTS Online and Graduate Student accounts student billing
• 3^rd Party billing
• Manage office supplies
• General data entry

QUALIFICATIONS:  

• Must be able to provide excellent customer service
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and complete tasks with multiple interruptions
• Experienced in 10-key, Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced office that demands detail
• Must be able to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Must be flexible with schedule as occasional evening over-time is required
