Traffic & Continuity Director presso Eagle Communications

Eagle Media - St. Joseph, KS is searching for our next Media Center Traffic and Continuity Director. Eagle Communications is not your average media company. We are 100% employee owned; that means we have a different approach to how and why we do what we do.

We have an opening for a Traffic and Continuity Director. This position requires high attention to detail and provides an opportunity to grow and connect with our listeners and our clients daily. A friendly face, a helpful attitude and enthusiasm for the position is a must.

Duties include, but not limited to:

· Schedule advertisers’ commercials to ensure optimal rotation across hours and days of the week to avoid similar product conflict or other competitive advertisers

· Multiple times per day review the commercial inventory and copy

· Work simultaneously in Marketron and VCreative for entering commercial copy, co-op scripts and complex commercial rotation

· Communicate with salesperson when advertising schedule or copy is missing

· Coordinate co-op scripts for monthly invoicing

· Maintain traffic formats for all stations and work ahead to ensure commercial logs are complete before deadline

· Reconcile daily commercials logs

· Ability to interpret and follow specific, detailed instructions

· Meet daily deadlines as set by market

· Learn and be responsible for all Network Connect orders and reports

· Support General Manager and sales people in multiple markets

Skills desired:

· Must be extremely detail oriented, highly dependable, dedicated and able to work without constant supervision

· Must have a positive attitude, excellent problem-solving and organizational skills and willingness to learn and adapt to the ever changing world of radio

· Ability to multi-task and handle the pressures that come along with scheduling client commercials accurately and without error

· Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Outlook, Marketron and VCreative (willing to train the right person who is willing to learn)

Compensation

Compensation is commensurate with experience along with a competitive benefits package including health insurance, 401(k), paid vacation, and employee ownership stock plan
