ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assigned to the operation of one of the post processing Clean & Pack equipment – Shakers, Freezer, Dip Sink Siliconizing, Dryers, Washing or Drying Ovens.
- Following standard methods and techniques, repetitively processes the product to ensure it meets customer and product specification, and alerts Manager when standards are not met.
- Monitors machine specifications as directed.
- Maintains all equipment and advises the Manager of repairs when necessary.
- Packs product for final staging and shipment.
- Coordinates with QC and Shipping as to any issues.
- Cross trained in all equipment within the department and fills in as needed.
- Completes daily paperwork, neatly and accurately.
- Promotes safety by:
- Ensuring the housekeeping in the immediate and surrounding work area is maintained or improved to the highest level possible.
- Wearing personal protective equipment (hearing protection and gloves).
- Ensures Quality products and processes are maintained by:
- Understanding and supporting both quality policies and the Quality System.
- Performing work at a level that ensures quality of this position’s work meets or exceeds internal specifications.
- Identifying and correcting if possible any identified quality issues in the department.
- Participating in system or quality based training provided by the company or recommended by the company.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent; or one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effective present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
