Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare menu items according to Johnny Carino’s recipes, plate presentations and specifications within cook time requirements
 - Read food order slips or receive verbal instructions as to food required by Guest and prepare and cook food according to instructions
 - Operate large-volume cooking equipment such as ovens, stoves, and dishwashers
 - Complete all assigned prep work
 - Practice sanitary and safe food handling at all times
 - Set up work station
 - Complete assigned daily and weekly cleaning projects
 - Be a core team member in a fast-paced kitchen
 
Qualifications and Skills:
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
 - Previous Line Cook or cooking experience preferred
 
Physical Demands:
- Must have the ability to lift pots, pans, etc., up to 50 pounds in weight
 - Ability to place plates, utensils, pans and cases on high and low shelves
 - Mobility required during the entire shift
 - Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for periods of up to eight (8) hours in length
