Responsibilities:

Noblis is helping the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) manage large and complex telecommunications and information management programs that use state of the art technologies to manage enterprise infrastructure services essential to the safe and efficient operation of the largest, safest, and most complex aviation system in the world. This is a senior role incorporating enterprise network architecture, project engineering, engineering design, technical documentation and proposals, systems integration, and implementation. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Performing enterprise network architecture, design, integration, and implementation.
  • Analyzing and resolving enterprise network technical requirements and issues.
  • Developing requirements and reviewing technical proposals, specifications, and documentation.
  • Assessing technical evaluations of proposals, specifications, and documentation with stakeholders.
  • Managing configuration and version control of replacement components for the enterprise network in partnership with the integrator.
  • Reviewing telecommunications solutions and architectures for FAA systems to ensure they meet FAA telecommunications guidelines.
  • Providing technical subject matter expertise for investment analysis.
  • Creating security authorization briefs for reviews of enterprise network components.
  • Providing technical content in support of executive and other briefings.
Required Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Networking, Telecommunications, or a related field.
  • 13+ years of experience in Networking/Telecom related roles
  • Substitutions: For anything requiring a substitution, the government customer is subject to further review and either approve or deny the request.
    • A High School degree with a total of 19 years of experience in networking/telecommunications.
    • Masters degree with a total of 10 years of experience in networking/telecommunications.
  • Expert ability to communicate in written and spoken form with all audiences, including front line engineers and executives.
  • Demonstrable experience in scope definition, cost estimation, scheduling and tracking of telecommunications projects.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of IP configurations, VPN configurations and firewall rules.
  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
  • U.S. citizen or green card permanent resident (3+ years U.S residency required).
Desired Qualifications:
  • Federal Aviation Administration experience, particularly in the FAA’s Program Management Office (PMO).
  • Knowledge of and experience executing within the FAA Acquisition Management System.
  • Certifications in router configuration, network design, network architecture and security are a plus.

Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked. While monetary compensation is important, it's just one component of Noblis’ total compensation package.


Posted Salary Range:USD $115,500.00 - USD $180,525.00 /Yr.
