We are searching for a Clinical Applications Architect - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will design, develop, and manage healthcare software systems to ensure they effectively support clinical workflows. Additionally, you will be responsible for understanding and optimizing multiple applications and system design of an Integrated Delivery Systems, you will be responsible for the identification and resolution of the application information flow, application integration, and the required infrastructure to support application requirements. Knowledge of clinical workflows, healthcare standards (HL7, FHIR), and regulatory requirements preferred.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
· Analyzes and coordinates the designing of new & existing applications and architectures of Integrated Delivery System systems. Coordinate new development and make sure it is consistent and well-integrated with existing information data structure.
· Coordinates/implements and controls the configuration and development of systems. Controls system configuration and development process by establishing standards, measuring work in process, interpreting results, and taking corrective action
· Lead implementation, customization, and testing of clinical software applications.
· Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, data privacy, and security standards.
· Administers program and system tests. Develops and administers data verification methods and plans as needed.
· Develops system documentation. Develops documentation standards.
· Maintains systems. Controls system operations by finding and correcting errors in the system.
· Coordinates activities and information dissemination with the manager, other Information Services personnel, users, and vendors. Leads development and maintenance programming activities with management, other Information Services personnel, users, or vendors during all phases of the system life cycle.
· Research and evaluate emerging healthcare technology trends/directions. Identifies and recommends tools and technologies using best practices/industry standards to support the strategic direction and to assist in deploying appropriately business initiatives
Skills & Requirements
· Required H.S. Diploma/GED; prefer master’s degree in science
· 10 years of major system design & implementation experience; prefer management or project leadership
· Bachelor’s degree will substitute four (4) years of work experience.  A master’s degree will substitute for two (2) additional years of work experience.
· Up to two (2), years of clinical patient care and/or clinical research experience may substitute for up to two (2) years of information systems experience on a month-to-month basis
