SUMMARY: The Lead Recruiter plays a key role in guiding and executing the company’s talent acquisition strategy. This position is responsible for sourcing, screening, and managing candidates through the full recruitment cycle, while also serving as a point of support for other recruiters on the team. The Lead Recruiter partners closely with managers to understand workforce needs, ensures a positive candidate experience, and helps maintain consistency in recruitment practices.
JOB DUTIES:
- Develop recruitment and retention strategy for high turnover industry.
- Partner with managers to gather job requirements, develop candidate profiles, and align recruitment strategies with organizational needs.
- Source, screen, and interview candidates for a variety of roles across the organization.
- Coordinate and schedule recruiting events, interviews, including panel sessions, and facilitate timely feedback collection.
- Conduct reference checks, verify employment eligibility, and ensure all required documentation is completed.
- Communicate job responsibilities, work schedules, benefits, and career growth opportunities to candidates.
- Prepare and present job offers and notify candidates of selection outcomes.
- Support and mentor recruiting team members by sharing best practices and providing guidance on complex requisitions.
- Assist with developing recruitment metrics and reporting progress to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate and compliant I-9 files, including timely reverifications, and ensure the preparation and distribution of 30-, 60-, and 90-day notices in accordance with company and legal requirements.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws throughout the hiring process.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Strong computer skills such as typing, system and software knowledge
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to communicate with employees regarding their issues and concerns
- Ability to multitask in a busy environment with specific deadlines
- Ability to work under general supervision while demonstrating leadership among peers.
Education and/or experience:
2 or more years of experience in recruiting preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds at times.
- Must be able to stand, bend, crawl, stretch, lay, and squat to maintain equipment.
- Must be able and willing to work on the production floor with fluctuating temperature levels, noise levels and other environmental factors.
Work Environment:
The work environment is a combination of corporate and manufacturing. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, cold temperature, risk of electrical shock, and vibrations.
