SUMMARY: The Regulatory Compliance Specialist plays an integral role in ensuring casino operations are meeting the requirements of both the state and federal regulators. With guidance from the Sr. Corporate Compliance Manager, this position will participate in a variety of projects including regulatory, licensing and background investigations. This individual will interact and engage with staff from front line employees to executive management to state regulators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform KYC and due diligence reviews of vendors and customers in accordance with the approved Compliance Plan and the KYC procedures.
- Maintenance of the vendors and consultants log and records.
- Assist the Sr. Corporate Compliance Manager with Internal Control Standards (ICS) reviews and updates in Nevada.
- Monitor and gather regulatory updates in the jurisdictions the Company operates providing a summary to compliance leadership.
- Perform regulatory testing and reviews in accordance with NGCB requirements, maintaining the files, reports and results.
- Laisse with property leadership to record and report Internal and External Audit findings to compliance leadership – assist property leadership to resolve repeat violations.
- Assist in the management of corporate leadership licensing.
- Review Surveillance Observation Reports for “hot spots”, summarizing findings for compliance leadership.
- Assist in the preparation or prepare quarterly and/or annual regulatory reports to be submitted to the proper regulatory authority.
- Assist the Sr. Corporate Compliance Manager with reports and materials related to the quarterly Compliance Committee meetings.
- Act as back-up in performing daily Title 31 audits of gaming and financial transactions and perform periodic testing.
- Periodically review the SOPs of various departments to ensure compliance with ICS.
- Maintain an organized system of record keeping for all applicable reports and documents.
- Ability to prioritize projects, adhere to deadlines, work independently, and use critical thinking to analyze data.
- Performs related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma
- 2+ years Regulatory Compliance or similar experience required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming Registration.
