How You'll Create Possibilities

As a senior technical leader, you’ll champion quality excellence, consult on process changes, and ensure our manufacturing control plans (MCPs) are executed to the highest standards. Key focus areas include:
 

Continuous Improvement

  • Lead strategic initiatives to increase yields and address quality feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

  • Analyze production data, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventive actions to eliminate root causes.

  • Monitor key metrics (SCR, Cost of Quality, damage data) and ensure negative trends are swiftly addressed.

  • Drive process efficiency and reliability through Lean, Six Sigma, and proactive quality tools.
     

Manufacturing Control Plan (MCP) Execution

  • Lead MCP processes for assembly, brazing, and testing operations—ensuring documentation is current, compliant, and operationalized effectively.

  • Partner with operations to create and update standard operating procedures and work instructions.

  • Ensure adherence to change control and ISO requirements.
     

Consultation & Problem Solving

  • Provide technical expertise on process changes, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.

  • Support new product introduction with manufacturability and quality insights.

  • Partner with design, production, and quality teams to implement solutions that meet regulatory and company standards.
     

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with engineering, service, and supplier quality teams to align quality goals across the product lifecycle.

  • Translate field service data into engineering and process improvements.

  • Engage with suppliers to manage quality issues, assess readiness for changes, and uphold compliance.

  • Communicate effectively across all levels of the business, from the production floor to senior leadership.

What You'll Bring to Our Team

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required.
  • 10+ years’ experience in quality engineering roles of increasing responsibility required.
  • Must have the ability and willingness to travel to various factories.  Travel may be both domestic and international.
  • Must have demonstrated experience in brazing, braze controls, related material and equipment.
  • Have a strong knowledge of quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience with process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma required.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis, quality improvement tools and quality management software tools required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in the consumer appliances industry strongly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and project management abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, from operations to C-suite level.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Travel

  • Travel up to 30% to suppliers and other manufacturing locations, as needed.

Working Environment:

  • Primary work schedule is the 1st shift. However, support during weekends, 2nd and/or 3rd shift may be required depending on business needs within a manufacturing setting.
