Qualifications

This is a public notice flyer to notify interested applicants of anticipated vacancies. Applications will NOT be accepted through this flyer. Interested applicants should review the "How to Apply" section of this flyer for more information on how to be considered. This flyer will be used as positions become available. This announcement uses the DHA for Domestic Defense Industrial Base(DIB) and Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) in DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. Who May Apply: US Citizens: To qualify based on your experience, your resume must demonstrate as least one year of: 1. Managing safety or occupational health program elements. 2. Developing and recommending safety and occupational health policy to higher levels of management. 3. Applying safety and occupational health laws, regulations, principles, theories, practices, and procedures to advise on or resolve technical matters dealing with occupational safety and health requirements. 4. Developing safety and occupational health standards, regulations, practices, and procedures to eliminate or control potential hazards. This definition of specialized experience is typical of the work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). This announcement uses the direct hire authority for Domestic Defense Industrial Base(DIB) and Major Range and Test Facilities Base (MRTFB) o recruit and appoint qualified candidates to certain positions in the competitive service. Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship. One year trial/probationary period may be required. Direct Deposit of Pay is required. Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees. This is a(n) 12 Career Field position. Salary includes applicable locality pay or Local Market Supplement.
