A day in the life:
As an IT System Adminstrator, you will support our mission critical prime program by assissting with the installation, configuration, and integration of new systems/applications into client IT environements. These include cloud, network, LDAP, and certificate-based infrastructure.
What you bring to the table:
- Infrastructure Integration:
- Understanding of fundamental networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, subnets)
- Understanding and Experience with:
- LDAP/Active Directory structure and authentication
- SSL/TLS certificate usage and basic management
- Awareness of security best practices (e.g., user permissions, patching)
- Cloud Infrastructure:
- Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS)
- Familiarity with AWS components such as EC2, IAM, and S3
- Containers & Orchestration:
- Basic knowledge of Docker (images, containers, volumes)
- Awareness of Kubernetes and how container orchestration works (actual experience not required but a plus)
- Support & Sustainment:
- Ability to perform system health checks and basic troubleshooting
- Comfortable using system logs and monitoring tools
- Familiar with documenting procedures and resolutions
- Client Engagement & Communication:
- Ability to interact with clients and internal teams professionally
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing client environments
- Additional Requirements:
- 5+ years of professional experience in IT including 3+ years experience in system administration
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Omputer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment
- Willingness to work off-hours occasionally for updates or incident resolution
- Exposure to Git or version control systems
- Experience using command-line interfaces (CLI)
- Interest in automation or infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Entry-level certifications preferred:
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Linux+
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (a plus)
- Docker Certified Associate or CKA (a plus)

- Disclosed pay ranges are a general guideline, and are not a guarantee of a final salary or compensation. Our approach in determining final salaries takes into consideration a number of factors such as education, certifications, total years of relevant professional experience, actual level of expertise, and the responsibilities of the role itself.
- Based on the outlined roles, responsibilities, and requirements, the projected pay range for this position is: $95k - $125k annually
