Position Summary:
The Leasing Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and reinforcing leasing training programs across Advenir Azora Living communities. This role ensures leasing professionals have the skills, knowledge, and confidence to provide exceptional customer experiences, maximize occupancy, and contribute to revenue growth. The Leasing Trainer partners with Operations, Marketing, and L & D leadership to align programs with corporate goals and performance expectations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Facilitate training for leasing professionals, with emphasis on customer engagement, lead follow-up, tours, closing strategies, and Elise AI utilization.
- Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training sessions tailored to community needs.
- Partner with Regional Directors, Community Managers, and Marketing to ensure training aligns with occupancy goals, leasing standards, and company objectives.
- Provide field coaching and performance support, including tour evaluations, call reviews, and one-on-one mentoring.
- Develop and maintain leasing playbooks, scripts, contests, and performance tools.
- Track training effectiveness using learning transfer expectations, pre- and post-testing, and property KPIs.
- Collaborate with the Systems Training Manager to integrate technology, Elise AI best practices, and digital tools into leasing workflows.
- Report on training outcomes and recommend program improvements.
KPIs:
- Training Completion Rate –80 % of leasing team members who complete required training.
- Knowledge Retention – Average of 85% on post-training assessments or quizzes showing understanding of leasing processes, systems, and compliance.
- Leasing Foundations Completion – Less than 10% of leasing team members with overdue courses.
- Training Satisfaction Scores –Positive feedback surveys from participants on clarity, relevance, and impact of training sessions.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong background in leasing, property management, or sales training.
- Excellent facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills.
- Knowledge of Property management systems (Entrata, Elise AI, Tour 24, etc.).
- Ability to analyze performance data and adjust training accordingly.
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Education, or related field preferred.
- 3+ years of leasing or sales experience in multifamily or related industry required.
- Prior training, facilitation, or coaching experience strongly preferred.
Reporting Structure:
Reports to: Director of Learning & Development
Works closely with: Regional Operations, Community Managers, Marketing, and Systems Trainer. In the absence of the Director of Learning & Development you will report to the COO.
Delegation of Authority:
You are not authorized to sign contracts on behalf of Advenir Azora or any property without written approval from your supervisor. A $500 spending limit has been set for your role.
