As an Application Support Administrator, you will be responsible for the implementation, performance, and support of multiple Hospitality Application systems throughout Grand America Hotels and Resorts. Some of the application systems we manage are Opera V5 PMS, Opera Cloud PMS, Amadeus ASEM S&C, Agilysys InfoGenesis POS, Fiscal POS, Ingenico Payment Devices, FreedomPay Payment Systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Desk-side and remote assistance in resolving Hospitality Application support issues.
  • Installation, repair, upgrade, backup, and maintenance of Hospitality Applications.
  • End-user training for Hospitality Applications. 
  • Management of software license, hardware, and maintenance agreements.

  • Desire to become a subject matter expert and expand areas of responsibility.
  • Experience in POS software is an advantage for the career.
  • Customer service oriented, attentive and smartly presentable.
  • Responds courteously and efficiently to queries and problems from guests and system users.
  • Responsible for documenting Policy & Procedures for the IT and Operations staff.
  • Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software problems including root Cause Analysis on a problem.
  • Must understand Network fundamentals, general network setup and device configuration.
  • Ensure that policies and procedure relating to PCI compliance are updated.
  • Maintain a system error / progress log and deals with reported problems.
  • Responsible to ensure that IT Audit points are implemented as per relevant Standard operating Procedures.
  • Monitors and maintains proper inventory of hardware and software license.
  • Is aware of IT Security Policies and ensures implementation through regular staff training.
  • Keep updated with latest hotel technology and security risks on a regular basis.
  • Able to perform other IT or Systems related task assigned by the management.

     

    Preferred Experience:

    •  Five (5) + years of experience in Hospitality, Operations, and IT POS hardware/software support roles.
    • Two (2) + years of Supervisory / managerial experience.
    • Degree or Certification in Information Technology field or technical degree in related area.
