We're seeking a Prep Cook to join our team in Boca Raton, FL. As a Prep Cook, you will play a vital role in creating nutritious, patient-centered meal plans. As a key collaborator with the Managing Chef, you'll oversee menu planning, accommodate dietary needs, and collaborate with a kitchen team dedicated to maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. Make a meaningful impact on patients' well-being by delivering meals that are nutritious, flavorful, and tailored to their individual health needs and preferences.

Position Details:

• Reporting to: Director of Operations
• Schedule: Full-time
• Location: Boca Raton (On-site)
• Compensation: $16.25 - $18 hourly

Key Responsibilities:

• Works in collaboration with the Chef to help with the development of menus.
• Maintains cleanliness of dining room and kitchen in accordance with sanitary, national, and local standards.
• Requisition food supplies and equipment.
• Inspect and taste food for quality.
• Helps in the ordering of food, as needed by Director of Food Services.
• Inspect and supervise serving of food.
• Responsible for quality and quantity of food served.
• Assure preparation of sufficient quantities of food in time to meet meal schedules.
• Assure storage of perishables and avoidance of food spoilage and waste.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Food Services role
• Active ServSafe certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Work experience in a residential setting, preferably in the field of substance use disorder or mental health treatment.
