You will also serve as a key office leader and mentor, fostering a culture of accountability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
A central aspect of this role is serving as a liaison between finance, leadership, and operations—translating complex financial data into actionable insights for executives and project teams, ensuring that business decisions are grounded in both operational realities and financial discipline.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for financial forecasting and analysis, partnering with the Project Executive (PX) and Project Manager (PM) in monthly cost-to-complete reviews, variance analysis, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Oversee and ensure accurate processing of owner and subcontractor change orders, contract commitments, and budget adjustments in Procore and related systems.
- Develop and maintain project-level cash flow forecasts to support company-wide financial planning and liquidity management.
- Generate accurate and insightful percent-complete projections to support earned value analysis and performance reporting.
Controls, Reporting & Compliance
- Perform detailed analysis of project cash positions, monitor billing performance, and lead over/under billing analysis to support timely and accurate revenue recognition.
- Collaborate with Corporate Accounting to support month-end close activities, journal entries, accruals, and financial reconciliations for assigned projects.
- Maintain financial compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and external regulations.
- Bridge communication between finance, leadership, and operations—ensuring accurate reporting, clear messaging, and timely resolution of issues across stakeholders.
- Translate operational progress into financial metrics that support executive decision-making.
Leadership, Operational Oversight & Liaison Role
- Take ownership of the project closeout process, ensuring all financial documentation, contracts, warranties, and final billings are completed and submitted accurately and on time.
- Act as a team and office leader, mentoring junior staff, driving process improvement initiatives, and promoting the standardization of project controls across the organization.
- Identify and implement tools, dashboards, and reporting enhancements that improve visibility, accuracy, and decision-making capabilities at both the project and portfolio levels.
- Act as a trusted liaison between leadership and project teams—facilitating alignment on goals, risks, and financial priorities to ensure successful execution.
