The Clinical Intervention for Placement Preservation (CIPP) program provides critical support to ensure youth are matched with appropriate placements in a timely, effective manner, helping to reduce disruptions and strengthen long-term outcomes.
Position Summary
We are seeking a Central Matching Team Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and workflow of the Central Matching inbox. This role ensures protocols are followed, supports team members, provides training and onboarding, and serves as a liaison between programs, DCFS, and placement administrators. The Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring youth are appropriately matched to placements with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of the Central Matching Support Team, including agenda, Central Matching Inbox, and Residential Discharge Inbox.
Ensure operations protocols are consistently followed and workflow remains uninterrupted.
Provide support to Central Matching Support Staff to address needs and maintain productivity.
Onboard new hires and provide ongoing training; keep training manuals current and aligned with protocols.
Maintain and update tools including phone lists, templates, and other necessary resources.
Serve as liaison between programs, DCFS clinical division, and placement administrators.
Facilitate presentations to external entities regarding the Central Matching process.
Collaborate with Data Analyst to generate and present reports on Central Matching activities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft 365 required.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with healthcare, youth services, or Joint Commission-related safety standards preferred.
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
Skills & Competencies
Ability to read and interpret assessments, treatment plans, and safety documents.
Strong reasoning and analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw conclusions.
