As a Leasing Agent/Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in attracting potential residents, ensuring high occupancy rates, and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Customer Engagement: Interact with prospective residents, providing them with detailed information about available units, amenities, and leasing terms.
- Property Tours: Conduct property tours, showcasing apartment units and amenities, and address any inquiries potential residents may have.
- Lease Agreements: Assist applicants through the leasing process, explaining lease terms, conditions, and rental agreements.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of leasing activities, applications, and resident interactions.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to existing and prospective residents, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive living experience.
- Responsible to answer telephones in professional and courteous manner, field calls as appropriate
- Report complaints, disturbances and violations to the property manager and/or area director immediately
- Respond to leasing inquiry emails
- Deliver quality telephone leasing and sales presentations, attempt to get callers into office
- Meet with prospective tenants to show properties, explain terms of occupancy, provide information about local area, review brochures and price sheets, and take applications
- Determine and certify the eligibility of prospective tenants, following government regulations and company qualifications
- Prepare Lease Agreements and associated documents
- Maintain apartment availability and unit status records
- Maintain traffic reports and guest cards

Requirements
- 2-3 years property management experience required – leasing and/or assistant manager
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse individuals.
- Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledge of local rental market trends and regulations is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and property management software.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in real estate or property management are advantageous.
- Demonstrate general office skills (typing, filing, faxing, emailing, copying, etc.)
- Experience with property management software required
- Must be organized, able to prioritize, and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Must possess positive attitude and demonstrate natural sales ability
- Be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and deliver quality customer service to supervisors, peers, residents, prospective tenants and vendors
