This position will be responsible for all supply chain planning responsibilities (including consensus demand & inventory planning) of Residential products – Splits, Furnace, Air Handler, Coils. This senior-level position will lead SCM Residential product planning team and will be responsible for developing strategic plans that improve service levels, reduce inventory costs, and enhance planning efficiency. The right candidate will have the ability to analyze the key drivers of the business and assist in developing targets and metrics to positively impact results. The candidate must be able to successfully coordinate S&OP & S&OP/E activities with key stakeholders and communicate effectively with various levels within the organization to deliver company objectives.

Position Responsibilities May include

Sales & Operations Planning & Execution (S&OP and S&OP-E)

  • Lead / Orchestrate S&OP activities (Weekly / monthly / ad hoc) with key stakeholders – Sales Planning, Manufacturing, PMO, DIL, Logistics, Marketing
  • Lead / Orchestrate S&OP – Execution activities (daily / weekly / ad hoc)
  • Work with operational leaders within the organization to achieve Availability and inventory targets 

Supply Chain Planning (Including Import)

  • Work closely with factories (DTTP, DMMX, Import factories) to ensure reliable supply of products
  • Serve as factory liaison during product and production transitions
  • Ensure timely development of Consensus Demand with Sales Planning using Advanced Planning System (APS)
  • Orchestrate development of monthly Supply Plan with Manufacturing  using Advanced Planning System (APS)
  • Ensure timely and accurate development and maintenance of Ukeharai for all premium products (APS)
  • Ensure all import and supply activities are compliant to company and regulatory standards 

Budget – Inventory Planning & Reporting 

  • Prepare Inventory budget and develop plans to achieve target
  • Track metrics and activities & communicate regularly key stakeholders  
  • Assist VP with the development & management of internal Monthly All-Hands meeting agenda and reporting
  • Ensure operational business units contribute accurate, timely and informative content that is meaningful and relevant for staff discussions   

Presentations to Senior Executives  

  • Prepare & present scorecards and detailed reports to senior management
  • Review supporting presentations from ensuring they contain consistent data and aligned corporate strategic message 
  • Perform additional tasks as required. 

Nature & Scope:

  • Develops and implements strategic plans and objectives for the department/sub-function in an effective and innovative fashion
  • Understands the business and can put together comprehensive department solutions 
  • Works with other leaders to establish strategic plans and works towards achieving them
  • Provides leadership and direction to managers in their respective division/department
  • Sees to department staffing needs (e.g. interviewing, hiring, new hire and ongoing training, annual evaluations, etc.)
  • Participates in budget development and monitoring of expenses
  • Level of signing authority established by company policy/guidelines

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Leadership Skills: Ability to orchestrate activities with stakeholders to deliver company objectives with attention to detail. Experience working for a large corporation a plus.
  • Analytic Skills: Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data 
  • Financial and Business Acumen: Ability to evaluate financial and business indicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results 
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Navigate complex challenges and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Able to use rigorous logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions.

  • Planning and Priority Setting: Demonstrate an ability to set objectives and goals and organize work appropriately to meet and exceed goals. Possess strong organizational and time management skills in fast paced environment
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrates strong listening, written and verbal communication skills 
  • Expert Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint 
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with a wide variety of people assertively and confidently 

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in a similar Supply Chain / Logistics / Planning / Operational leadership role 

Education/Certification

  • Bachelor degree required in Supply Chain / Engineering / Operations or related role. Master’s Degree a plus
