Role Purpose

As the International Business Leader for Customer Facing Services, you will be a champion who puts customers first. As the world continues to change this role is pivotal in driving our digital commercial success, specifically focusing on customer-facing solutions like navify Portal, navify Marketplace, eCommerce  and navify Security Suite solutions. You will be responsible for setting the vision and strategic direction ensuring successful market adoption, implementation and commercialisation of these digital experiences.

In this role you need to apply cross-function agile leadership to support the team in translating customer and business needs into clear priorities, guiding the focus of experts and squads. Breaking down complex requirements from across customer voices at a global level to deliver comprehensive and successful customer solutions working across Roche.

The Opportunity:

  • Drive Commercial Success: Be accountable for high level customer experience, commercial success and growth of digital customer portals and marketplace offerings.

  • Strategic Vision and Roadmaps: Develop and execute long-term strategic visions and product roadmaps for digital platforms in collaboration with the Lifecycle Leader and markets.

  • Market Expertise: Identify new market opportunities and manage market risks specific to digital customer engagement and eCommerce (e.g. B2C).

  • Customer Feedback: Monitor market and customer feedback to ensure continuous improvement and optimization of digital platforms.

  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships and communication with affiliates, other divisions, and partners regarding digital solutions.

  • Team Leadership: Establish, lead, and mentor a high-performing, multifunctional team focused on digital solutions.

  • Agile Leadership: Act as a role model for Agile Leadership behaviors and support the organization's transformation to new ways of working.

  • Business Planning: Develop and update business cases and plans for investments related to digital platforms.

Who you are:

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing, sales, and product development  with clear strength toward digital customer facing portals and marketplace solutions.

  • Proven track record to guide execution cycle analysing, developing, promoting solutions to our customers.

  • Strong understanding of the Diagnostics industry, lifecycle & development process.

  • Building  in developing product strategies & roadmaps for digital products in a collaborative and cross-functional environment.

  • Experience in growing and scaling digital product offerings from scratch.

  • Strong leadership and people development skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

  • Experience with agile software development and digital product management methodologies.

  • Ideally, a pre-existing network of Roche contacts in global functions and affiliate sites.

  • Excellent strategic thinking, communication, planning, and organizational skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Locations:

You can be based in Rotkreuz and Sant Cugat 

At the Company's discretion, an exception to the location requirement could be made under extraordinary circumstances.  

As this position is a global role, international business travel will be required depending upon the business location of the successful candidate and ongoing business project activities.
