About The Opportunity
A successful applicant will lead a team responsible for providing high-quality reporting and analytical service to local and regional corrugate operations teams. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the team provides accurate, relevant, and timely information to regional users, unlocks new business insights, and ensure the operations team is informed for accurate decision-making. The Team Leader will be the main point of contact for the Regional Senior Operations Director, Corrugate Network Operations Finance Director, and the five direct reports supporting this position. An eagerness to invest time in talent development, a passion and skill to coach, provide feedback and build capabilities of others is a key skill the ideal candidate must bring to the table. An ability to provide candid feedback, stretch and push team members for growth.Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
As an integral member of the team, the applicant will be responsible for influencing sound business decisions including business planning, financial forecasting, proactive analysis, and value creation to deliver on our profitable growth objectives
This position has five direct reports and is accountable for leading, coaching, and developing the team.
The applicant will work closely with cross-functional supply chain members to drive and optimize cost savings for corrugate network, streamline processes, and work across regions to look for opportunities to share best practices.
Provide management with financial advice and counsel on all pertinent business matters by supplying timely and meaningful financial analysis of actual performance, business plans, and other discrete projects
Supports continuous improvement initiatives for finance process and information flow
Coordinate and lead annual budgeting and monthly close process
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations
Provides requested financial information to key stakeholders
Review and approve balance sheet reconciliation on business unit on ECC
Education & Experience
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of finance, financial methods, tools, and strategies
Ability to read, interpret, and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material
Ability to present complex data in a way that showcases a good understanding of the problem, command of relevant data that could alter the outcome of the analysis, and make a compelling recommendation focused on delivering results
Ability to clearly communicate with both business partners and team members, driving alignment and action through clarity
Demonstrated skills in guiding a team through change and developing the skills of others around them
Knowledge of the functions, tools, and processes needed to manage financial assets and liabilities throughout the organization
Knowledge of the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining the books of the organization and preparing financial statements and reports
Knowledge of financial and accounting applications specific to the organization
Strong collaboration and communication skills, with ability to lead and influence business partners
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
Primarily works in an office environment
