We are currently looking for a Problem Management profile with around 3 years of experience to collaborate on a project with a multinational company in the energy sector, working on-site in Glasgow.
What do we expect from you?
- Technical School Degree (medium) o Technical degree (medium).
- At least 3 years of experience in technical areas, platforms, tools and language of their technological perimeter.
What will your tasks be?
- Root Cause Analysis: coordinate with Internal Problem Managers, Technical/Functional and Incident teams to conduct Root Cause Analysis following Critical Incidents.
· Why Root Cause Analysis: working with others, develop roots cause analysis documents.
· Develop action plans associated with outcomes of the RCA review and where necessary identify improvement actions.
· Work with action owners to ensure timely completion of these actions and record any change in dates.
- Permanent solutions: coordinate with technical and functional teams to develop permanent solutions to issues which are marked as Workarounds.
· Take ownership for the investigations and manage the actions.
· Ensure any changes are recorded in ITNow (ServiceNow), coordinating with Internal Operations Management to agree schedules for changes and manage them to completion on behalf of the Problem Team.
· Document lessons learned, ensuring any process improvement opportunities are reflected in the continual improvement plan.
- Continual Improvement: working with the operation managers and problem managers, develop a Continual Improvement Plan.
- Proactive Problem Management: undertaking proactive problem activities to improve stability of the IT Operations.
- Reporting: work with internal problem managers and other teams to manage reporting elements, such as KPI Reporting for Problem Management. Identify tasks performed on tieme and those which are not. When necesarry outstanding tasks will be escalated to the client's internal problem managers.
