Assemble, disassemble, mechanically test and hydrostatic pressure test a variety of subsea drill-though and well control equipment. To troubleshoot and diagnose any resultant problems and suggest remedial work, if necessary. To work effectively to meet company delivery expectations whilst ensuring safety, cost and quality goals are also met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take a proactive role in assigned tasks to improve delivery performance, e.g. new methods, new tooling etc.
- Have a responsible attitude towards company equipment to ensure safe and correct usage of company equipment.
- Efficient use of time to maximise output.
- Ensure housekeeping procedures and policies are adhered to.
- Be willing to work on own initiative and as part of a team to complete assigned tasks.
- Ensure communication is effective when working as a team and between shifts.
- Be willing to work shift pattern.
- Any other reasonable duties as required or deemed necessary to ensure the quality of goods is meet and work is carried out in a healthy and safe fashion.
Qualifications/Experience:
- ONC/HNC Engineering discipline advantageous as well as experience in a Repair/Maintenance/Assembly environment.
- Knowledge of maintenance/welding/pressure testing principles, concepts, theories and practices
- Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings essential.
- Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Communication and Teamwork.
- Problem Solving.
