YOUR TASKS

 

  • You dedicate at least 70% of your assignment to scientific research in the domain of Business Informatics.
  • You support the preparation of research proposals, including a proposal for a postdoctoral research fellowship.
  • You contribute to teaching at the bachelor’s or master’s level.
  • You supervise master’s students in the context of exercises, internships, and master’s theses, as well as PhD students under the supervision of the promoter(s).

 

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

 

  • You hold a doctoral degree in Business Economics or an equivalent degree.
  • The diploma requirement must be met at the time of appointment. For diplomas obtained outside the European Union, a NARIC equivalence certificate must be presented.
  • You have already conducted research in the field of Requirements Engineering, in particular on implementing ‘privacy by design and by default’ with the help of Artificial Intelligence.
  • You have a demonstrable interest in research into the use of Large Language Models to support GDPR-compliant Requirements Engineering.
  • You have experience in supervising students in academic and/or advanced academic programs.
  • You have at least two relevant scientific publications in international and national scientific journals with wide dissemination, peer review of submitted manuscripts, and indexing in Scopus or Web of Science.

 

WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU

 

  • We offer you a temporary appointment for a period of 1 year. The appointment cannot be renewed.
  • Even if you have already been appointed earlier (whether or not at another university and whether or not in the same field of discipline) in a first term of up to 3 years, you can apply. The second appointment does not have to be immediately connected to a first term.
  • Your appointment will start on 1 November 2025 at the earliest
  • Your remuneration will be determined according to salary scale AAP5. More information about our salary scales

The certificate can be requested via www.naricvlaanderen.be/en. For diplomas awarded in the UK before January 31st of 2020, a certificate of equivalence is not required
