The University of Wollongong is seeking a highly organised and proactive Functions, Event and Venue Coordinator to lead event operations at our Sydney CBD Campus. This part-time role could be suitable for someone looking to re-enter the workforce in a supportive and caring team environment.

As a key member of the Faculty of Business and Law, you’ll coordinate a diverse range of internal and external events that support postgraduate education, research, business, and community engagement. You’ll work closely with academic and professional staff, external partners, and venue stakeholders to ensure events run smoothly, align with university priorities, and comply with both UOW policies and Darling Park house rules.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include managing logistics, coordinating suppliers and staff, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders. You’ll also contribute to business development and marketing efforts, helping to grow the campus’s profile and generate income where feasible.
