We currently have a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity for a Finance Transactions Officer to join our Finance division. This role has a preferred location of Port Macquarie, however, anywhere within our operational footprint will also be considered.
In this key role, you’ll ensure finance transactional processing and support functions are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in line with regulatory obligations, policies, and performance targets. You’ll also provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders while contributing to continuous improvement across systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver finance services on time and in accordance with legislation, policies, and compliance requirements.
- Provide administrative and operational support across billing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable functions.
- Investigate process failures and stakeholder disputes, resolving issues at the root cause.
- Complete reconciliations and internal control processes across daily, weekly, and monthly cycles.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders and maintain agreed customer service standards.
- Support the development, testing, and governance of systems, processes, and documentation.
- Contribute to training and educational initiatives for finance systems and services.
- Participate in training and development activities.
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and projects as directed.

Qualifications & Certifications
Required:
Certificate III in Business or equivalent experience.
Experience
- Demonstrated experience in a high-volume transactional finance environment.
- Strong understanding of billing, accounts receivable/payable, and internal control processes.
Skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to document business processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
