Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Key Responsibilities:

Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap, and goals.

Own and manage the product backlog: create, prioritize, and maintain user stories and features.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including customers, business leaders, and developers, to gather and clarify requirements.

Work closely with the Scrum Master and Development Team to ensure clear understanding of features and acceptance criteria.

Participate in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.

Make informed prioritization decisions to maximize value delivery.

Evaluate product progress and provide feedback to ensure alignment with the original vision.

Monitor market trends, user feedback, and competitor activity to inform product strategy.

Required Skills and Experience:

Familiarity with UX principles and data-driven product development.

Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar product management role.

Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.

Ability to balance technical understanding with business acumen.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent.
