Lewis-Palmer School District 38, located in Monument, CO, is looking for a full time special education paraprofessional to work in our Severe Needs Program at Bear Creek Elementary School beginning as soon as possible. This position may also help support our moderate needs resource students; therefore, the applicant must be willing and able to support students with a variety of special needs. Must be a flexible team player and have the genuine desire to work with elementary ages. Must be able to assist in small group activities or work one-on-one to follow the educational support plans for the students.
This is a full time position, working on all student contact days plus three professional development days determined by the principal. The starting hourly wage for this position is $19.65-$21.21 depending on previous experience. A higher starting wage rate may be granted to applicants who hold one of the following: a current Colorado educator's license, bachelor’s degree, RBT certification, CNA license or RMA/CMA certificate.
This position is full time, 7.5 hrs per day, and is eligible for benefits. The start date for this position is as soon as possible. Applications will be reviewed as they are received. This position will remain open until filled.
