Are you looking for a challenging position as an Assembler in a growing and successful company?
We are looking for a Medical Device Assembler I to join our dynamic and expanding team!
The Medical Device Assembler performs a variety of assembly operations in our clean room. Assemblers will be able to complete the following:
Essential Functions
- Assemble parts according to instructions and training
- Follow work instructions & pay attention to detail
- Be able to read some drawings, measure and cut fibers to specifications
- Use a microscope for some operations
- Be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Able to complete manufacturing documents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Use some hand and power tools
- Has some understanding of product flow.
- Adhere to GMP and QMS policies and procedures

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and stay focused for long periods of time as well as bend, twist, and reach frequently. The employee is frequently required to use hands to manufacture, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and walk to get supplies. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 10 pounds, occasionally lift and move up to 25 pounds. Employees will be required to work with alcohol, adhesives, and other products during manufacturing process. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday - day shift.
Travel
No travel is expected for this position.
Relocation for this position is not available.

Compensation
Assembler I starting pay of $18.00 per hour.

Requirements
Required Education & Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Fine motor skills
- Attention to detail and quality standards
- Effective communication skills
- Strong work ethic

- Able to work legally in the US without sponsorship
Preferred Education & Experience:
- 1-3 years cleanroom assembly experience a plus
- Lean manufacturing experience & training a plus
- Has some experience with Medical Manufacturing products or something similar
