We are currently seeking a Returns Checker 1 to verify all returned products, damaged cases, and equipment are accurately checked and accounted for, making any necessary adjustments to ensure correct recording.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Verify equipment returns from stores.
2. Process all returned merchandise and equipment returned by delivery drivers.  
3. Verify delivery equipment related to Returns activity is properly maintained (i.e. hand jacks, jack stops, and jack stop hooks on trailers).
4. Input trailer move requests as needed.
5. Input backhauls into system to go to main warehouse.
6. Process empty trailers from doors to yard through AG swag or Ryder personnel.
7. Lead and direct workflow as needed with Returns Warehouseman.
8. Comply with all safety and sanitation rules, regulations, and guidelines; make on the spot correction of unsafe acts and maintain an inspection ready distribution center. 
9. Maintain a clean and organized work area and the sanitation level in the entire Returns Building. 

Education and/or Experience                   

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
