Role overview
As Partnerships Director at Sweatpals, you'll be the confident catalyst sparking transformative partnerships across the Northeast territory—New York City, Boston, Philadelphia, and DC. This senior role is for a bold builder who's ready to challenge the old rules and clear the way for new ones. You'll ignite exclusive relationships with established fitness businesses, showing them how to get out of their heads and into motion.

Working with SDRs and cross-functional teams, you'll prove that when passion meets platform, isolated business owners become empowered entrepreneurs. Core responsibilities
Be the movement: territory strategy
Own the Northeast—from NYC's boutique studios to Boston's fitness innovators—with the courage to shake things up
Target Tier 3+ accounts ready to embrace daylife energy and turn their passion into real careers
Build territory plans that welcome discomfort, challenge norms, and prove fitness is better together
Identify fitness businesses stuck in complacency, ready to be ignited by possibility
Create the spark that turns isolated business owners into empowered entrepreneurs
Think like a builder: partnership execution
Lead complex sales cycles with the confidence that sparks change
Navigate multi-stakeholder decisions with bold curiosity and genuine care
Structure exclusive partnerships that turn "have an idea" into "launch a career"
Show enterprise businesses how to move from morning hangover to FirstLight energy
Close deals that prove movement without limits creates success without bounds

Lead with care: cross-functional collaboration
Partner with SDRs to identify hosts ready to transform hitting snooze into "let's go" energy
Work with Customer Success to ensure every launch feels like a high-five moment
Collaborate with Product and Marketing to amplify what makes movement irresistible

Roll up your sleeves—no egos, no ivory towers—and get hands dirty to make things better
Relationship building & networking
Build relationships with C-level executives ready to welcome discomfort and grow
Develop partnerships with industry leaders who believe in movement over stagnation
Be the space maker where fitness innovators feel seen, safe, and free to dream bigger
Represent Sweatpals at major events with the confidence that's contagious
Cultivate a network of builders ready to turn daylife into their life's work
Sales excellence
Conduct discovery that uncovers where businesses are comfortable in complacency
Deliver presentations that ignite possibility and turn skeptics into believers
Navigate procurement with the bold confidence that comes from genuine belief
Address objections by showing the path from isolated to empowered
Forecast with the clarity that comes from focused, fast, and frictionless execution
Key performance indicators
Annual contract value (ACV) and total contract value (TCV) achievement
Exclusive partnership conversion rate for Tier 3+ accounts
Territory market share and penetration metrics
Average deal size and contract length
Pipeline velocity and forecast accuracy
Net revenue retention for acquired accounts
Required qualifications
8-10 years of successful B2B sales experience in SaaS or marketplace businesses
Proven track record closing enterprise deals worth $100K+ in annual contract value
Experience selling to fitness, wellness, or hospitality industries preferred
Demonstrated ability to navigate complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
Strong business acumen with ability to build compelling financial models
Exceptional negotiation skills and executive presence
Excellent communication and presentation abilities
Self-motivated with strong organizational skills
Experience working with or managing SDR resources
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Preferred qualifications
MBA or advanced degree in business or related field
Existing relationships within Northeast fitness and wellness community
Experience with marketplace or multi-location business models
Track record of exceeding $1M+ annual quotas
Knowledge of fitness industry economics and competitive landscape
Experience competing against or working with ClassPass, MindBody, or similar platforms
Demonstrated thought leadership through speaking or writing

Compensation
Base salary: $100,000 - $125,000
On Target Earnings (OTE): $195,000 - $220,000
