🎯 What You’ll Do in This Role:
Join Our Team as a Temporary Facility Support Personnel – Make a Daily Difference!
Are you someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and welcoming environment? As a Facility Support Personnel at our senior living community, you’ll play a vital role in helping our residents feel at home. You’ll be responsible for maintaining the facility, grounds, and equipment to ensure everything operates safely, smoothly, and efficiently. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented individual who can work independently, adapt to changing needs, and bring a strong sense of integrity to their work.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Ensure the facility equipment is working properly.
- Vacuum, shampoo, and deodorizes carpets.
- Cleans dining rooms and common areas.
- Clean restrooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the day.
- Empty trash bins and manage waste disposal in accordance with department procedures.
- Assist in cleaning windows, walls, and other surfaces as needed.
- Set up and take down furniture and equipment for events or meetings.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Facility Support Manager.
- Assist with inventory management by organizing and restocking cleaning supplies.
- Complete work orders timely through an electronic portal system.
- Assist with room moves including furniture, clothing, and other personal items.
✅ What You’ll Need:
- 1 year of experience in custodial work, required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid unrestricted state of Michigan driver's license, required.
- Position requires the ability to lift and move objects weighting up to 35 pounds without assistance
- At least 1 year of experience in maintenance work, preferred.
