Saw operator runs a special computer saw, designed to cut vinyl product.  The operator needs to understand the variation in color and profiles to be able to cut the proper material and must be able to read and understand the labels as well as the computer.

• Based on the production label, operator selects the proper materials to be cut and enters the proper cutting series in the saw computer.
• Vinyl lineals are pulled from the racking and fed into the machine.
• Machine cuts the part and operator will spot checks measurements to verify conformance, making necessary adjustments to maintain production specifications.
• Once parts are cut, labels are adhered on the part and placed in proper bin for next step in the operation.
• Other duties as assigned, including housekeeping and cross training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.

·        High School diploma or GED

·        1-2 years experience in a fast-paced assembly line work

·        Ability to read and comprehend English

·        Use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure

·         

·        Physical demands may include standing, walking, sitting, lifting, carrying, climbing, pushing/pulling, forward bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, squatting, crawling, postural balancing, manipulating, trunk rotation, handling, gripping, and talking (hearing).

·        Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

·        Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) will be provided and is required to be worn daily.
