Our Service Division is a global organization that is growing aggressively. Through our multi-national operation, we continue to find success through partnership and the provision of innovative custom-engineered electrical power solutions and services by way of low & medium voltage electrical distribution packages, electrical and valve servicing, and a wide number of automation systems.
At this pivotal moment, as we accelerate our growth into new and existing geographies, we are seeking an experienced and entrepreneurial Lead Generation Manager who brings vision, drive, resilience and inspires success in others.
The Senior Sales Engineer will collaborate with our Global Sales team and wider members of our Global Service Organization to help shape and enable our global growth strategy. The Lead Generation Manager will identify and develop strategies to address the needs of respective markets and industries with a customer solution mindset. This person will be accountable for developing strategies, implementing solutions, and partnering with stakeholders in pursuit of identified business objectives – contributing expertise, business acumen, professionalism and a passion for always finding a solution.
Essential Responsibilities
- Generate new and repeat sales of company products and services
- Generate new sales leads and referrals to increase sales potential
- Develop tools and methodology for generating sales leads for all businesses
- Partner with the Global Sales team on specific Lead Generation campaigns - by region/segment/ product
- Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships
- Deliver product presentations at customer sites, conferences and exhibitions
- Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
- Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific target opportunities
- Prepare detailed equipment proposals and perform sales contract reviews
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows
- Identify and resolve client concerns/complaints
- Prepare and maintain sales status reports, including activities, closings, follow-up and adherence to department and company goals as required of the department manager
- Assist in the implementation of company marketing plans and strategy as needed
- Manage sales lead process through continuous quality checks and other follow-up
- Estimate, negotiate and respond to commercial and technical clarifications
Minimum Qualifications
- BS Degree in Engineering, Business or Technical Sales preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in an Engineering or Sales & Marketing role
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a sales support and/or Business Development role
- Demonstrable experience working within one of more of the following industries: process (oil & gas), utilities, federal government, automation, or data centers.
Skills, Abilities & Other Requirements
- Proven experience of working within a global sales organization
- Proven experience in conceptualizing and executing upon global and regional business plans
- Demonstratable experience of teaching or coaching others
- Demonstrable experience in developing product presentation and marketing collateral
- Ability to interpret and translate complex problems and solutions into compelling narrative and story board.
- Comfortable with interactions at all levels of the internal and external stakeholders, including C-Suite
- Strong interpersonal, digital communication, and productivity skills
Working & Environmental Conditions
- The travel required for this position is approximately 25%.
- Must participate in Powell's Driver Safety Program
