Digital Coordinator

Location: Wheaton College Billy Graham Center (in office at least 3 days/week)

Position Overview: The Wheaton College Billy Graham Center was commissioned by the famous evangelist at his alma matter to be “world hub of evangelism” which gathers ministry leaders, runs cohort programs for pastors to increase the evangelistic impact of their church, conducts and publishes practical research, and equips Christian college students for a lifetime of sharing their faith. 

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Digital Coordinator to enhance our online presence and engage our community through various digital platforms. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, and social media management, basic design and layout skills, and digital content creation. The position pays $50,000 per year ($24/hour).

Key Responsibilities:

Content Management:

  • Assist in maintaining the Wheaton College Billy Graham Center website using WordPress, ensuring all content is current, engaging, and aligned with our mission.
  • Edit and publish blog posts, articles, and multimedia content.

Digital Marketing:

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns using HubSpot, analyzing metrics to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Collaborate on creating and implementing social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to grow our audience and enhance community interaction.

Design and Branding:

  • Utilize Canva to design visually appealing graphics for social media, newsletters, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure all digital content aligns with the center's branding and mission.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze website and social media metrics to assess performance and inform future strategies.
  • Prepare regular reports on digital engagement and suggest improvements based on data insights.

Collaboration and Support:

  • Work closely with various teams within the center to support digital initiatives and campaigns.
  • Assist in planning and promoting events through digital channels.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in HubSpot, WordPress, Canva, and significant social media platforms.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and best practices.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Basic design skills with a keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience communicating with a Christian audience
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices.
