Position Title: Chief Financial Officer
Reports to: Bank President
Location: Nebraska, USA (Norfolk, Omaha or Lincoln)
Job Type: Full-time
Salary Range: $120,000-$150,000 base salary

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Telcoin Digital Asset Bank will serve as a key member of the executive management team, responsible for safeguarding the Bank’s financial stability, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting sustainable growth. In a leaner community/regional bank structure, the CFO plays a hands-on role with a heavy emphasis on risk management and compliance initiatives with added responsibilities for treasury management, liquidity planning, compliance reporting, and investor relations. This individual will partner closely with the President, CEO, Board of Directors, regulators, and shareholders to balance profitability, prudent risk management, and community-focused banking values.


Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and execute financial strategies that support the Bank’s growth, capital adequacy, and profitability goals.
  • Provide financial guidance and reporting to the CEO and Board of Directors.
  • Lead the Bank’s annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.

Financial Operations & Liquidity Management

  • Direct accounting, finance, and treasury functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage daily liquidity and funding needs, including lines of credit, deposits, and wholesale funding.
  • Manages the bank’s capital structure and ensures sufficient cash flow to support daily operations. 
  • Oversee balance sheet management to ensure alignment with regulatory capital and liquidity requirements.
  • Supervise preparation of regulatory and financial reports, including call reports, SEC filings (if applicable), and Board packages.

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations and reporting requirements (e.g., FDIC, OCC, Federal Reserve, state banking departments).
  • Maintain strong internal controls and coordinate with internal/external auditors.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Risk Officer and Chief Compliance Officer to integrate risk management into financial operations.
  • Ensure the bank adheres to all applicable financial laws, regulations, and internal policies. 
  • Lead stress testing, interest rate risk analysis, and scenario planning.

Investor & Stakeholder Relations

  • Serve as a key point of contact for shareholders, analysts, and rating agencies.
  • Oversee investor communications, quarterly earnings releases, and presentations.
  • Support the bank President, CEO and Board in shareholder meetings and investor roadshows.
  • Foster transparency and credibility in financial disclosures to maintain trust in the Bank’s financial performance.

Leadership & Team Development

  • Build and manage a high-performing finance and accounting team in a lean structure.
  • Provide mentorship, cross-training, and professional development opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with business line leaders to support operational decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred.
  • 12+ years of progressive experience in financial leadership, with at least 5 years in a senior role in a bank or financial institution.
  • Ability to manage both strategic vision and day-to-day operations
  • Exceptional leadership skills and ability to influence at the executive level. 
  • Deep understanding of community/regional bank operations, regulatory reporting, liquidity management, and capital adequacy.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic vision with hands-on financial management.
  • Experience with investor relations and external financial communications.
  • Proven success managing regulator, auditor, and stakeholder relationships.
