Career Opportunities: Head of Global Process Safety Standards & Operations (30347)
ADAMA’s global leader in Process Safety, enhancing performance and culture by proactive measures
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Formulation and implementation of ADAMA’s HSE policy, procedures, and standards
- Embedding highest Process Safety standards and methodologies in all topics related to RBPS elements and more
- Determine and support annual Process Safety’s Key Performance Indicators and accordingly working plans
- Conduct audits globally and follow up on corrective actions
- Responsible to review and analyze PS incidents, and share lessons learning from all significant safety incidents
- Providing professional support to the production, storage, and marketing units to achieve excellence in process safety
- Professional support and proactive interaction with the process safety engineers within ADAMA
- Interact with foreign and regulatory affairs, company official representative in external committees and panels
Requirements:
Process Engineer in the chemical industry with over 10 years of experience in production operations, including leadership roles and team management
Qualifications & Skills:
- Strong professional knowledge of process engineering, regulations, standards, and operational know-how
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to partner with, and communicate with peers and all levels of management
- Systematic and detail oriented
- Successful track record of leading significant change processes
- Project orientation
Education, Language & Computer Skills:
- Academic degree in chemical engineering.
- Process safety background and/or certification is an advantage.
- Fluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking). Additional language is advantageous.
- Compute platform- Windows & Office, HSE software
