A full-time, eight (8) hours per day, Assistant Food Service Supervisor position is available at the Cumberland Valley High School.

The Assistant Food Service Supervisor assists the Kitchen Manager in providing supervision for all food activities in the school building. This includes ordering, preparing, and serving food as directed by the Kitchen Manager. This person must be able to work occasional evenings and weekends to assist in catering and concessions. Prior food service supervisory experience in K-12 or college dining preferred. Strong organizational and communication skills are required. Ability to demonstrate strong leadership and computer experience in Word and Excel required. Prior experience with K-12 POS (Point of Sale) systems preferred.

The individual must be able to stand, walk, and bend for long periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. above his/her head. The successful applicant will be dependable and able to work effectively with adults as well as students. The applicant should have corrected hearing or vision within normal ranges, and must be able to pass a child abuse history clearance, state police background check and FBI Finger print clearance.

If hired for employment, the applicant must be able to submit the following:

Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
