We’re looking for an Events & Propositions Executive who expects more from their career. Sitting within the Sales Enablement team, you will play an integral role in building, narrating and delivering customer focused event marketing materials. Driving the success of our sales team through enhancing their event knowledge & resources and supporting them in achieving their targets effectively. The role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and various Tesco teams, to ensure alignment and integration of sales enablement initiatives.
Your focus will be on the development, delivery and optimisation of our seasonal event insight. Working across multiple media channels both Online and Offline to deliver customer first propositions that drive revenue.
What you'll be working on
- Supporting the Events and Propositions lead in building insight led customer first marketing propositions that can be monetised and deliver return on investment for our supplier base. Spanning seasonal events and customer propositions such as Health and Value, you will project manage key events ensuring that we maximise media revenue.
- Managing successful internal networks across multiple functions such as Sales, Strategy & Planning and Marketing.
- Utilising insight and planning tools to build compelling marketing collateral that can be used by media planning teams to inspire clients to buy into the solutions and empower the sales team to sell them.
- Creating a consistent approach for our go to market materials ensuring they are meeting client needs and bring all resources together in an accessible place for the media planning & sales teams.
- Crafting insight driven narratives for each event, outlining the customer benefit of investing in each and engaging sales in how their brands can stand out.
- Responsible for building and managing successful day to day relationships with our partners at Tesco.
- Responsible for project managing each event, pulling revenue figures and constantly striving to improve them through highlighting key deadlines, sharing new learns and ideas and engaging all teams from planning to delivery.
- Reporting the success, challenges & learnings of each event from a commercial perspective to ensure we grow and learn as a business.
- Assisting in the development of case studies across each event to strengthen our narrative on how media can drive a client’s performance.
- Help foster a strong internal culture through engaging communications that keep the Media Sales team aligned, informed, and inspired.
What we expect from you
- Experience in digital media planning and/or e-commerce within a marketing/advertising team or media agency.
- Knowledge and passion for Retail or Media, with a strong understanding of taking a ‘customer first’ approach.
- A curious approach to thinking who shares a passion for brands and retail.
- Ability to work in a fast-moving team and effectively manage multiple projects, priorities and stakeholders at the same time.
- A growth and commercial mindset, continually looking for ways to drive growth in an efficient way.
- Experience using data and insights to build a compelling media solution and curate a narrative to take out to market.
- A strong collaborator – showing evidence of collaborating and coordinating with internal departments and teams to get things done.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent time management skills, ability to work calmly under pressure whilst meeting deadlines.
