Logansport Community School Corporation Job Description - Responsibilities include trash collection and removal, sweeping, mopping, and dusting.
- Regular cleaning of plumbing fixtures, window glass, and stairways also required.
- This job requires occasional heavy lifting and some knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and appliances.
- Must be able to climb a ladder to assist with changing light bulbs in ceiling fixtures.
- Assist with snow removal when circumstances require it.
- Perform related duties as assigned or requested within Logansport High School itself.
- M-F; 8 hr/day, 2pm-10:30pm
- Beginning Hourly Rate is $17.06 per hour
- Must have the ability to push, pull, lift and carry items weighing more than 10 pounds.
- Must be able to bend over, reach downward or upward, and to wring a wet mop.
- Must maintain storage areas in an organized fashion.
- Maintain school facilities and grounds in condition of operating excellence, cleanliness and safety so that full educational use of the facility can take place.
- Candidate also must be motivated to assist routinely with staffing assorted after school events to include athletics,
facility rentals, etc. These events include evening and weekend availability. - High school diploma or equivalent and must have the ability to communicate with fellow employees and read English.
- Must complete and clear all Indiana background check requirements for school personnel.
- Must complete and clear drug screen.
