Position Overview

We are seeking a highly capable HR Generalist to join our team and support Archera’s people strategy during a critical growth phase. This role will serve as a trusted partner to leadership and employees, ensuring compliance, supporting manager and employee development, and driving scalable people programs. The HR Generalist will play a central role in employee relations, coaching, performance management, and compensation, while helping shape a strong and inclusive culture. This is a high-impact role with career growth potential into Director of People.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, and maintain accurate HR policies and records.
  • Support managers through training, coaching, and guidance on employee relations and performance issues.
  • Partner with leadership on compensation strategy, including total rewards, performance-based pay, and headcount planning.
  • Lead performance management processes, including goal-setting, feedback, and evaluations.
  • Drive initiatives that support employee engagement, retention, and professional development.
  • Provide HR operations support, including payroll oversight, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Finance and Legal to ensure alignment on policies, compliance, and global operations.
  • Serve as a resource for employees, offering guidance on policies, benefits, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally across both startup and larger corporate environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Business, or related field; SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Proven expertise in compliance, employee relations, coaching, and performance management.
  • Experience with total compensation and rewards strategy.
  • Strong working knowledge of payroll and HR systems (Rippling, ADP, or similar.)
  • Demonstrated success supporting organizations through growth (40 → 100+ employees.)
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic impact with hands-on execution in a fast-paced environment.

Location: Remote, USA or Hybrid from New York, New York or Bellevue, Washington

The national base pay range for this role is $120,000-145,000. Individual compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience and qualifications. Certain roles may be eligible for additional compensation, including stock option awards, bonuses, and merit increases.
