YOUR ROLE:
As a Corporate Law Paralegal, you will work closely with Specialized Lawyers and be involved in complex, large-scale cases.
Your main duties will include:
Draft and amend a variety of legal documents in corporate law (contracts, reorganizations, continuations, dissolutions, shareholder agreements, mergers, acquisitions, notices);
Manage the creation, registration, organization, liquidation and dissolution of companies, while filing the necessary corporate documents;
Support lawyers in transactional files (prepare closing agendas, contract schedules, resolutions);
Actively participate in closing sessions;
Conduct searches in Registraire des entreprises, Corporation Canada and other relevant registers.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
Diploma of Collegial Studies (DEC) in Paralegal Technology or any other training deemed equivalent;
Significant experience commercial & corporate transactions;
Bilingualism, both written and spoken;
Autonomy, rigor and ability to manage priorities effectively;
Strong interpersonal skills and proactive spirit.
