Food and Beverage Supervisor-Full-Time/Second Shift. Salary: $19.75/Hour/Negotiable, plus shift and weekend differential, if applicable. Location: Resort Division. Reports to: Food and Beverage Manager.

In accordance with the Gaming Ordinance, all non-gaming employees whose annual income reaches $50,000 or more will be required to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume duties of food and beverage staff as needed, including the role of Food and Beverage Manager.
  • Work cooperatively with Sous Chefs, at times assuming supervision duties over back of house kitchen staff.
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service in line with resort policies.
  • Adhere to all established rules, regulations and procedures.
  • Must always dress professionally.
  • Be punctual and reliable when reporting to work.
  • Greeting guests warmly and professionally, treating everyone with respect.
  • Assist in maintaining proper stock levels of products and supplies.
  • Possess basic knowledge of POS systems and alcohol dispensing units.
  • Ensure accuracy in revenue drops and adhere to revenue handling procedures.
  • Assist in training and appraising front-line employees, including conducting counseling sessions.
  • Lead employees in daily duties, prioritizing tasks as needed.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage Manager to address operational deficiencies.
  • Understand and align with organizational goals and vision.
  • Conduct meetings with vendors as necessary.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance and service.
  • Ensure department compliance with health code standards.
  • Handle employee disputes and guest complaints professionally.
  • Prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Adhere to workplace policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Maintain compliance with drug and alcohol-free workplace policy.
  • Maintain compliance with all workplace policies, procedures, ordinances, laws and other expectations.
  • Adapt to changing duties based on organizational needs.

 Qualifications & Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year of supervisory experience; two years of food and beverage supervisory experience preferred.
  • Bartender certification must be completed within 30 days of hire.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
  • Intermediate math skills and computer proficiency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
  • Previous cash handling experience required.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work with diverse personalities and foster teamwork.
  • A willingness to enhance self-development and adapt to change.
  • Attendance at all applicable training sessions.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a satisfactory working record
  • Eligibility for coverage under the employer’s liability insurance.
  • Must be over 21 years old. 

Work Conditions:

  • Must be able to walk, sit, stand, use hands to handle or feel, reach with arms, talk and hear.
  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds on a regular basis.
  • Specific vision abilities required, including close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, and depth perception.
  • Work is generally performed in a casino setting with a higher noise level and cigarette smoke.
  • Evening and/or weekend work required.
  • The working environment is non-smoking;  and and noise levels may vary depending on location and work area.
