Position Summary:
Necco has an opportunity for a career as Accounting Manager. This role will be responsible for various accounting duties including assisting with month-end close, reviewing and approving journal entries, preparing and analyzing profit and loss financial reports, and other financial activities within our organization. The candidate must be able to go beyond the numbers; they must track, review and understand the data, resolve discrepancies, and assist with related process improvements.

The candidate selected will be responsible for the following:
Financial Services Management
- Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting and accounts payable departments
- Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
- Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Preparing and analyzing profit and loss financial reports
- Coordinate and complete annual audits
- Improve systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions · Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Meet financial accounting objectives
- Establish and maintain fiscal files and records to document transactions
- Other duties as assigned
Systems Management
- Act as ERP system subject matter expert to Operations team
- Review and approve journal entries and maintain general ledger account analysis to ensure a smooth, accurate and efficient month-end and year-end close.

Position Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, MBA, CPA or similar credentials
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Excel required
- Accounting system/ERP experience required (SAGE Intacct preferred)
- Team player and trusted business advisor to the organization
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Successful completion of all required criminal background checks
- Valid driver’s license and state minimum required auto insurance coverage
