The P145 Planner & Scheduler is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective planning, coordination, and scheduling of all maintenance and completion activities within AWPC’s Repair Station. This position plays a critical role in supporting operational excellence by aligning resources, schedules, and workflows with company goals, Lean Service Center principles, and regulatory requirements.
In this role, the Planner/Scheduler will collaborate closely with Managers, Maintenance and Completion Supervisors, the Engineering Manager, Quality Control Supervisor, CMRO Director, and other departments to establish goals, develop benchmarks, monitor progress, and recommend resources that drive safe, efficient, and cost-effective work processes.
Key Responsibilities:
o Develop, maintain, and manage work order setup and schedules for all maintenance and completion activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
o Monitor performance of planning and scheduling functions, maintain accurate metrics, and provide timely reports to managers, supervisors, and department leads.
o Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts to avoid delays and ensure adherence to maintenance plans.
o Coordinate Repair Station work orders in collaboration with Maintenance Supervisors and Quality Control to align workloads and priorities.
o Support the P145 Liaison in maintaining the Customer Discrepancy Log (CDL) in SAP, including updating discrepancies, quoted hours, and gathering approvals from Customer Support Managers (CSM).
o Assist in preparing invoices for customers by ensuring accurate work order and discrepancy tracking.
o Ensure proper documentation and inclusion of all required hard copy records with closed work orders, in accordance with Repair Station procedures.
o Partner with Maintenance, Completions, and Quality leadership to design and implement effective work order structures that meet operational demands.
o Collaborate with management to implement and sustain Lean Service Center principles that improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and support continuous improvement.
o Establish and track realistic benchmarks to achieve deadlines in line with AWPC’s operational goals.
o Collect and analyze cost estimates for labor, materials, and outside services, providing reliable input for financial planning and customer invoicing.
o Actively participate in cross-department scheduling meetings, ensuring alignment of priorities, workflows, and lead times across departments (P145, P21, Outside Services, MPTS, Customer Service, Quality, Flight, and Engineering). Communicate updates and revisions to all stakeholders.

Qualifications for Position:
Education: Associate degree or Equivalent
Experience: 2 years in planning and scheduling in P145 or Aviation experience preferred

License/Certification:
