Symetra Investment Management has a great opportunity to join our team as an Investment Operations Analyst Intern!
About the Internship:
The Investment Operations Analyst will provide overall day-to-day investment operations support to the Company’s Investment Portfolio Managers, traders and Finance department. The primary responsibilities of this position include the back and middle office functions of investment operations.

Symetra's Internship Program for Summer 2026 is entirely remote with the option to work hybrid. The internship duration is 12 weeks.

Potential Responsibilities:
- Working on projects that improve investment processes
- Helping to ensure investment data is of excellent quality by assisting with data analysis and reconciliations
- Creating reports in Excel that communicate investment positions or transactions to internal customers
- Learning about the investment infrastructure at a registered investment advisor and how investing for insurance companies works
- Shadowing team members to understand the various roles and responsibilities in Investment Operations
