We’re looking for an energetic and experienced General Sales Manager to lead our sales team. You’ll oversee the Area Sales Managers, driving flawless execution in the market, reinforcing processes, and elevating training and onboarding to uphold the highest company standards. This role is directly responsible for delivering on volume, gross profit, and distribution goals while developing and coaching sales leaders to maximize their potential and strengthen future talent.
Responsibilities:
- Meet or exceed company sales, volume, gross profit, and distribution goals across all territories.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, suppliers, and industry partners.
- Drive execution of sales priorities by leading, coaching, and holding Area Sales Managers accountable.
- Support market-level execution of promotions, supplier programs, and brand-building initiatives.
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are modeled and delivered consistently by the sales organization.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and performance data to identify opportunities and guide strategic decisions. Collaborate with senior leadership to design and implement sales strategies that maximize growth and profitability.
- Represent the company at key industry events, supplier meetings, and trade shows.
- Uphold all company quality standards, processes, and policies, ensuring compliance across the sales team.
- Uphold company culture, values, and expectations by modeling professionalism, accountability, and leadership in every aspect of the role.
- Recruit, train, and develop Area Sales Managers and build succession plans to strengthen future leadership.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in beverage sales or a related field, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in leading a sales team.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of the beverage industry, market trends, and competitive landscape.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
